LOCAL BUSINESSES
This year our 15th Salford Triathlon & Aquabike event will be taking place within Salford Quays and Trafford Park on public roads. Our nominated charity this year will be Maggies cancer care.
From 08:00-13:00 on Sunday 19th July approximately 500 cyclists will be cycling anticlockwise in the left hand lane from MediaCityUK, moving over Centenary Bridge and then cycling through Trafford on public (open) roads (see cycle route below).
Important
- There will be no lane or road closures
- Access to your premises on the route will be available at all times
Competitors are aware that they will be sharing the bike course with other road users and the course itself will be heavily signed and marshalled.
Cyclists will be briefed to closely observe the highway code and respect other road users.
Although the event is being held on a relatively quiet Sunday morning please make your drivers, customers etc aware that there will be cyclists on the public roads at this date and time. Thank you.
